When we applied for the Bloomberg "Love Your Block" grant we was excited to learn that we were accepted. We began working diligently to create a location that catered to our initiative to transform a vacant lot into a beautiful vibrant space in the heart of the Shawnee community.
Located @ 4105 Larkwood Ave., featuring a fenced in play area, picnic tables, and a shelter with benches for bus riders to wait comfortably. This location is more than just another spot. It is the safe space that caters to the community's needs.
